awful lot of trouble for a critter.

If you left it, you would do good by feeding other animals keeping them warm and fuzzy inside

call dept of wildlife and fisheries

they will tell you where to bring it or they will come pick it up

there are no publicly advertised rehab places for wildlife AFAIK

A couple of thoughts:
Normally when these animals are out, their parents are nearby and the best plan is to leave them alone and watch from a distance.
Having gone beyond that point, you can try going back there to see if the parents will return for it.
Otherwise, you might look up Wings of Hope just south of Livingston as a reputable wildlife rehabber. Yes, their name indicates their preference for birds, but I have seen a variety of animals in their care when I brought injured raptors to them for treatment and rehab.
