Does covid hang out back there too? Why the mask? Doesn’t look suspicious at all.

I don’t have the Racetrac video. BRPD has it and I have not seen it yet. Wife says that definitely not him. 99% sure.

Okay. Just narrowing down the list.
I expect he’ll have a mask on and a hat to try to hide his identity now that he’s been alerted that people are after him. He might have flown the coop but...people are stupid, and junkies are stupider

I wish Baton Rouge could be cleaned up. I’ll never see it in my lifetime. Wish I could spend two weeks back in Sherwood Forest during the 1980’s.

That picture of green hair girl (Angelle) has helped a lot. Someone saw the picture online and claims they were at that Racetrac at 6:30am and saw green hair standing there with a black guy at Racetrac. This new person said they would be glad to speak to a detective to describe and confirm the identity also.
So greenie was involved.

What a shithole that you have to live in fear just to get gas.

Louisiana is such a piece of shite state.

This kind of shite happening where I’m at in Texas I can’t even fathom. Never in a million years would I even be slightly worried about this and I’ve never been approached by a vagrant or really even seen one anywhere near my neighborhood.

You really can’t escape the hood in Nola and BR.

My new car and gun were stolen from a very busy parking lot in Dallas while I was playing in tennis city championships. It was a newly renovated facility in downtown Dallas and is and official usta competition location. We were able to narrow down the theft to a 15 minute time frame by talking to competitors arriving and leaving after I parked the car and before I returned. The city managed facility has cameras all over the parking lot and I was parked directly in front of the entrance with clear camera view.

I finished competing late as we advanced through the last round and it was getting dark when I walked out to discover my car with my gun missing. It’s not a safe area at all after dark but pretty busy during daytime. I called 911 threes times over an hour explaining that my car was stolen with a loaded weapon in the vehicle and I was a lone female left stranded in the dark facility in a known high crime area after dark. After 1 hour of waiting for 911 to show up, my team mates made it back to pick me up and we drive to the nearest substation. Talking to the vehicle theft detective there, I was told no one was ever going to show from my 911 call and we made the right decision to make our way to their station.

The city facility never turned over the camera footage and my car tracker and kill switch were deactivated by the time I had help. Good news is that city championships will compete at the same facility in a few weeks and there is no improved security nor response to my theft a couple weeks ago. USTA isn’t inclined to move the championship play location, the facility is non-responsive to the theft and this is the third dangerous incident ther that I know if I’m the past 6 months.

Long story short, this is a problem in many large city police departments with low staffing and depleted budgets. Junkies are everywhere and their crime comes a,info with them. I’m now in a battle with the city facility management, Dallas PD and USTA to get answers for why I was left stranded after dark in a very unsafe location after being victim to a crime.

I doubt it.
I also doubt you know what NTRP is.

Also...they have championships at several different levels!

Thanks for the reply though...have a great weekend.

LSUGrrl, get your story out to everyone in the championship including the organizers. They can put pressure on the facility who can in turn possibly pressure the local PD to step up security. Sorry about what you are going through.

Sounds like your crime was more organized than just a junkie stealing a car. Probably organized group targeting vehicles for resale or chop either in US or other country. Sorry for your experience.

Dang. I’m sorry to hear this happened.
I think you are right about police being under staffed and over worked. The biggest thing here was us not knowing the process. And instead of someone in BRPD actually explaining it to us it was more of “here is your number to call. Good luck”. It took us going to the station and speak with someone. That actually helped to understand the process. Although to us it’s the most important issue in the world. But to the BRPD it probably ranks on a lower scale to the outcome. It’s a sad truth but we at least recognize it. Doesn’t mean it’s right though.
