The vaccine has no effect on Omicron despite what is being touted in the news media and by the likes of Jug Ears O'Neal of LSU.
The fact is that while it may be true that only unvaxxed have been hospitalized in South Africa, the fact remains that every last one is over 50, obese (fat frick), with type II diabetes, PLUS at least one other comorbidity. Still the average hospital stay is 2-3 days and not even need oxygen

We got tested because of our kids’ preschool policy. They aren’t canceling class tomorrow which is good for the other kids education. I told my wife to just not report it to the school but she insisted.

You actually may have had an easier time with Omicron if you hadn’t been vaxxed.
Vaccine did nothing for Omicron but maybe lower your immunity

I dunno. I suspect it works as far as keeping things mild. My elderly mother is boosted and she barely noticed she got COVID. I on the other hand was legit feeling like I was about to die when I had it. It's different for everyone..
