If calendar is fixed coaches are just now getting fired and coaching searches cranking up.
Easier for coaches to finish season.

Championship should finish January 1st or week after
High school signing day back to February only
Portal window post Spring practice
No point in high school seniors needing to enroll in January anymore. They are hardly playing anyways. Go to your high school prom

He had 6 great years and was beloved by everyone in Oxford and MS.
Within a week he just blew it all up. The cat can't get out of his own way.

He could either take the LSU job or stay and coach OM in the playoffs.
