Both of us are vaccinated and boosted, yet we both got it. In hindsight, I wish that we hadn't gotten vaccinated as it seems like our immune system has really weakened since then. What a farce that Big Pharma has pushed onto the world...

Not knocking the decision but why did you get vaccinated?

Drink a lot of gin and tonics with extra lime. You'll be fine.

At our age (mid to late 30's), getting Delta could've had serious complications. My best friend is super athletic and got COVID (before vaccines were available) and has had a hell of a time recovering, so that made me want to get vaccinated.

I've been doing this the whole time. Caught covid a month ago. Got through it just fine.

Omicron is so virulent that vaccines cannot prevent an infection. The numbers show that. I work in a 10 person business where everyone of us are double vaccinated. We’ve been mask less for a year and no one caught it.

Since The first if the year, 8 of us got it. One person had a fever; seven had sniffles and a sore throat.

Be thankful you were wise enough to get the vaccine. You may have saved your life.

Let the downvotes begin!

At that age, you are essentially not going to be impacted by covid at all, unless you're unhealthy (fat or other issues).

Current strand isn't even as bad as a mild cold for most people.

3 older members of my family also have it right now. Monitoring them closely. All with 3x shots. Mostly some fever and mild symptoms to this point.

We need one thread where everyone can check in when they test positive. I'm not sure why everyone starts a new thread to tell us they have covid.

Wut? How did getting the vaccine make your immune system weaker? For many months the vaccine has not been to prevent testing positive, it’s to reduce your symptoms.

Get it, don’t get it. But let’s at least admit it does some things and to some it’s worth it. To many it may not be.

ETA: are covidians really that ignorant to think the vaccine prevents them from even getting it to the point they don’t test positive? Lol
