Don't forget the 3 gallons of anti-freeze. Preferably Prestone.

No. Make that Quakerstate.

AC compressor or blower. Listen to how long it takes to stop clicking.

No one wants to be your "automobile technician" on the OT. Go to any of the thousands of car forums on the internet, bro. This is the OT, we have our slaves do our autombile servicing and we talk shite to other posters. Mainly just talk shite.

When you dispose of a body it's best to get all the parts out of the trunk or else it makes that exact sound.

I have a 2005 FX35 with 75,000 miles..great cars (Knock on wood). It sounds like the fan is rubbing on the shroud a bit. While the car is off turn the fans manually and see if it rubs. If it does get a file and file it down the area.

This. Sounds like a blower. Doubt it’s the compressor as it’d stop when the serpentine stops.

It is the alternator. Nissan alternators free spin after the engine is turned off. Simple check, hold a screwdriver tip on the housing of the alternator and you will probably feel the clicking as it winds down. The alternator is common across many models. Cross reference the part number on rockauto.com and hit up a pullapart.

To test the blower, you could turn the blower on and off with the engine off and listen for the noise.

My wife makes the same noise when I PIIHB
I didn’t click the OP’s link to hear the noise.

Is it “ohgodohgodohogodohgodohogod....!!!!”?

(Cause that’s what she says when I do the same thing to her.)

And it might be her alternator because her blower is just fine, ftr.

Funny you should mention that. ONe day in traffic I noticed an old, large Buick sitting at a light that had a dead cat hanging out from under what was likely the fan housing behind the radiator. This was an older car so it surely had an engine driven fan. I guess the elderly lady didn't hear the screams at start up.
