Pretty sure that's it.. Last time we were passing thru we stopped to grab a bite and use the facilities. First off, the inside looked like a Riot had just occurred and when my wife took our girls to the bathroom..... Sorry still get a bit queasy picturing her description. Apparently, some crazy person on the period got blood everywhere and for gods knows what reason stuck her used pad to the stall wall and the proceeded to wiped herself with the paper towels and leave them all over the floor.
Note to self: This may be a good time to reconsider reading the OT while eating an early lunch.

Can't have a list with Whataburger in it without In-N-Out Burger. This would top the list.

Milo's is pretty decent around here too. Their tea is awesome.
Jack's is probably better than Mcds and BK too.
In Memphis, Back Yard Burger ruled.

Where does Carl's Jr fit on your ranking?

Wait what? People rave about Canes and have since it opened. I hear so much about the Caniac it's not even funny. And people pay for things that are overpriced all the time. Look at cable companies and wireless carriers.
FWIW, Canes isn't alone. Popeyes is overpriced as well. Jones sent me a photo when he was living in Galveston where the 3-tender meal before tax was $9.45. It isn't much lower here.
* Are you really IRL friends with Trout? :)

I still laugh about it. My wife still doesn't find it amusing .. I mean I've been in some nasty bathrooms before, but none that looked like a violent murder had just occurred.

On no planet is Wendy's light-years ahead of McDonald's on anything other frosties, and that includes customer service and restaurant cleanliness.

You mean Hardee's? It's the place that you find way the f out in the country. It will be the only building at that exit you have to get off at before your kids piss themselves.

quote:It is overrated. People eat it in Louisiana mainly because their kids beg for it and it's a local brand. The chicken tenders are bland and unseasoned. W/O the sauce or some kind of condiment they taste horrible.
And that is fine. But the idea that they are "overrated and overpriced" is silly. Nobody is writing high reviews and nobody is making anyone pay those prices. People do so on their own volition.

Their service is top notch....but it's not as amazing as people try to make it out to be. The burgers are good....fries, not really tbh.
Only time I have In-N-Out now is when people from out of town visit and demand that we go.

me and you must be the only ones. Anytime i eat Canes with someone and they see me putting my chicken in ketchup they always like
I always get the honey mustard sauce. There have been times when I forget to ask for HM instead of canes sauce, in which case I use the cane sauce, but to me its slightly above having no sauce at all.

The Junior Baconator with cheese scoffs at this statement.

Carl's Jr here. And they are everywhere here.

Whataburger would be my first choice (depending on how close I am to it).
Whataburger has the greatest breakfast burrito I've ever eaten.
Also, for whatever reason I don't consider Sonic in the same segment as BK, McDonald's, Whataburger, etc. I guess it is the lack of a drive-thru at many locations and the relatively high prices compared to other chains.

If people are willing to wait in line and pay, it isn't overpriced. Chicken Shack is better and cheaper, but you will wait 20 minutes.
That's the beauty, it's up to you to decide. It isn't up to you to decide for others. I think Louisiana Lagniappe is awesome. I also think the prices are high. But I go. Along with many others.

I just don't define overpriced like that. When I go to the Sazarac Bar, a martini is $19. That is overpriced. I pay it. People pay it. But it is overpriced. It isn't "reasonably" priced simply because people pay it.

Popeyes prices are what it cost when you're serving real chicken and other food. I love Popeyes, but their service is horrendous, so I only go there in anticipation of future hunger, not when I'm actually hungry.
Kind of like Mitch Hedberg and his frozen banana.

I haven't been to BK in 5+ years. Last time I went was in the ghetto (north btr). They were out of hamburgers and coke. They acted like it was normal and no big deal.
