In all fairness the rooney rule is a fricking joke and the NFL has a extreme case of nepotism

Faulty logic to think that the most qualified guy is always the one that gets the job. There's far too many examples of coaches that have done nothing being hired over and over again over fresh candidates.
It's not a racist thing, it's a comfort level thing. A lot of coaches that haven't really done anything but keep getting hired establish a real rapport with the owner and upper management. The owner wants someone he can relate to. It's not a surprise that a lot of those guys are white.
In a sense, I suppose many minority candidates are underqualified since gaining a level of trust/rapport with the owner and upper management beyond the x's and o's acumen is a tacit qualification.

Why do you baws spend so much time watching television you seemingly abhor is the real question that should be answered in this thread.

I think it is an interesting conversation because the numbers are so starkly contrast. It is hard to argue that there isn't a disconnect when so many players are black and so many coaches are white, but I'm not prepared to argue that racism is at play. Race may play a role as to who is more likely to hand out with who, but that is as far as I'll take it.

I no longer listen to ESPN radio as it has become a big pulpit for anti-white talk.

Why aren't Asian, Indian, and other ethnicities complaining about this issue?
I'll hang up and listen...

Probably has something to do with races other than white or black making up less than 4.5% of NFL players.
