Why don't these child predator cases get any major attention?

Especially here on TD. These lowlife scum are damaging thousands of kids in the state of La. As small as this state is, there are continuous busts of large scale cases. Kinda feels like there's a hub down south. I have to imagine some posters here know something about something!

I've never understood how low played child trafficking, abuse, and pronography in our society is. Yes, anyone humane thinks it's sickening but crimes and punishments are so lenient and typically covered up without much media coverage.
Had a friend that worked with investigating child pornography stuff online in the FBI and he could not sleep at night. Not only from the images he saw but thinking about the amount that is out there. No normal person would ever realize the magnitude of the problem.

If anything, you are exaggerating the prevalency of it. It's despicable, but hardly an epidemic. And I'm not sure how anyone can say we're "lenient" on kid diddlers.

The sad thing when there is a TD post about a predator like Jared Fogle it's littered with footlong and subway jokes showing little sympathy for the victims. Amazes me. But when a drunk kid gets hurt in a bar fight its all sympathy with people bending over backwards to 'investigate' and locate the other party.

Yeah it's pretty sad that our prejudice and tensions are more towards petty bullshite.
