So according to this logic, exercising, sex, coffee, basically anything that affects your heart rate is a negative side effect?

Back in School when I was smoking weed every day, I had a friend that would always hold his chest freaking out about how fast it was beating. While at the same time, this whole period of my life my resting heart rate was always in the low forties BPM. So I guess it can have a different effect on everyone.
