don't view it as bad. However I do find it unbalanced. If someone like me can make it at SUBR and still get the same pay and opportunities as an LSU masters grad, what was the point of going to LSU ??

People don't point and laugh when you say you recieved a bachelor's from LSU.

My favorite point to make here is:

Nobody fails out of southern engineering and transfers to LSU to get a degree.

Based on the number of shitty threads and posts by you, you have a lot to learn still.

I understand. The reason I post so frequently is because TD has become an outlet for me. I just have this urge to get opinions based on certain thoughts. It is sad, but it helps me cope with my stress from school and other insecurity issues I have from my old collegiate experiences.

I get it dude, I really do...everyone wants some affirmation or approval at points in life, myself included. But if you're second-guessing yourself this much at this early stage of your life, the real world is gonna kick your arse. I used the "school is stressful" argument with my Pops once and he almost laughed me out of the house. Sack up and take responsibility for your decisions instead of looking for approval from a message board.

SU engineering vs LSU engineering

When I was in undergrad at LSU people would take the harder classes (statics, dynamics, thermo) at SU because they were easier at SU.

Worked with a SU engineering grad who one asked "what equation do you use to find the area of a circle?" My response was "is there more than one?"

That's enough for me to conclude what quality of degree you get from SU.
