There should be a lane exclusive for trucks and make the rig companies pay for it

Many of these semi truck drivers are driving hundreds and hundreds of miles traversing the Basin Bridge area, Baton Rouge and I-12. Do you all think that these drivers drive into that area and think "I'm in the Lafayette/ Baton Rouge area, so I'm going to start driving reckless and stupid"?

With the amount of semi accidents in that interstate road corridor, it's a mix of retarded 4 wheel drivers, road design, traffic congestion, and yeah, some unsafe truck drivers. But it's not all on the truck drivers.

Did any if you ever wonder why it seems that a lot of tankers are in roll over accidents? It's because that smooth bore tanker is filled with liquid. And when a driver makes a sudden stop or sharp turn, that liquid is sloshing around in that tank creating forces that disrupt the weight balance of the truck. When you cut in front of a tanker truck to make your exit because you are to impatient to safely follow behind him to take your exit, and he has the choice to either hit you or brake hard and swerve suddenly to avoid hitting you, and the sideways surge of the liquid causes him to roll over, do you thank him for possibly preventing you from getting injured or even saving your life?
