If all you wanted was Advil then you didn’t need morphine to begin with

Yeah I don’t get it. I’ve had hydrocodone and couldn’t feel my face from the buzz/high.
Morphine is stupid too. Made me feel like a crackhead one second and drowsy the next and then back and forth. Told the nurse to yank that stuff out and just give me Advil.
Advil might as well be sugar pills. I can double the dose and it does nothing for me at all. I have found nothing in pill form that has any effect on me whatsoever. Not pain pills, not allergy pills, nothing.
But then if I take a swig of Nyquil I'm out like a light.

So the military liked to make lollipops out of it, ok. BFD.
So that’s worth 100s of thousand dead people?
frick that and the pain lollipops. Pain is good it tells you something is wrong. People just need to accept it, it will not kill you. Life is pain.
Plus they can drag some better shite out of the black op caves, and everyone knows it. (You know the 10 trillion dollar ones)
It should be banned and anyone caught dealing it given death penalty, or we are going to wipe out significant portion of people. It medical use is marginal and way less than marijuana and estacy, yet we have a federal war on them. Hell, cocaine is safer and probably even heroin.
Let’s tell the real truth, they exist so some pharma can make a few bucks, and that’s really it

Unlike morphine which takes 15 to 20 minutes to relieve pain, the lollipop is effective within five minutes. It’s also much easier to administer than morphine, which must be injected into a large muscle, and if the dosage is too strong the lollipop can be rapidly removed. The effects of morphine cannot be halted.
Pretty much everything you said is WRONG.

Where do you people hear this shite? Seriously?
Fentanyl is used constantly, every day, by every anesthesiologist in every hospital in the USA. Be glad they use it too if you are having surgery.
Nobody uses MDMA in the hospital, ever. Not sure what medical use it has you speak of.

Great short acting agent for pain control. If monitored is very safe

me and my wife have both had epidurals.
me after major surgery, wife while having kids
all of them had fentanyl and I am glad it did

Its a staple in anesthesia for surgical procedures.

I had a big bag of medical Fentanyl strips lying in my kitchen for a year from a loved one’s terminal cancer. It probably could have killed a small village.
It is crazy they let you keep it. When my mom passed from cancer, the Sheriff’s office took all of the unused medications the hospice gave her.

America has a massive drug problem from the laws to the addictions

Ok dumbass, lets blow your arm off or have you get hit with an IED or just shot. And while you’re writhing around in pain the medic can tell you how good pain is for you and you just have to accept it
It

It’s being illegally produced, imported, and sold. It’s already “ banned”. Like murder- it’s illegal, it’s banned and we prosecute people for it. Still happens tho. You just need to accept it. Life is pain, right?

When I had a Knee Replacement in 2015,fentanyl was put in my I.V.
A very small dose.
imo,the Patches were for Terminal Cancer Patients. That was fine.
When Pain Mgt. started prescribing them it let the Genie out.
Chinese saw a market for it.$$$$$$$
eta: I was in Pain Mgt for 2 years. Was being prescribed Dilaudid. at the time of my surgery.
I tried a 25 micro-gram fentanyl Patch.I had to take a 72 hour patch off at 6 hours because I broke out in a sweat and started throwing up.

I believe I heard the fentanyl being used in heroin is some China black market shite.

I had a neighbor a few years ago find cancer all throughout his body. Nine days later he was dead. Sometime in those nine days when he was on fentanyl in the hospital, he sent me a text at midnight asking me to check on his dogs. They didn’t have any dogs. I mentioned this to his wife months later after he had passed. She said in his final days he was talking about the dogs that he had while he was a kid.

They put it in my wife’s IV at the ER after she broke her tibial plateau. She wasn’t complaining about pain so I don’t know why they chose it over morphine, dilaudid or something more mild. I was curious how they decide which drug to use. Surely they don’t just check the inventory and see what’s lying around but it seems like it sometimes.
