What were your other 2 items?
oh sorry. actually its way more than 3.
- one was a oil rubbed bronze doorknobs that amazon/marketplace dealer wanted $5 SHIPPING for *each* set. x 21 sets = $105 shipping
i got the same brand new on ebay and a one time $5 shipping fee and the seller keyed all the outdoor locks the same since everything was on one order.
- the aforementioned sheets. had to go elsewhere since amazon doesnt have good sheets.
- the 'now legendary' teapot.
- 5000 airsoft BBs for my son were more expensive at amazon than a local airsoft dealer and i thought the local dealer was outrageous (yep same brand)
- CREE LED lightbulbs..Amazon wants $26 each, home depot sells them for $10 and ebay has a seller selling a '6 pack' for $42
ETA care to refute any of these? the prices speak for themselves unless you want me to spoonfeed you the links as well.

Bull.

Oh, and you responded to the post that was two posts before it, and the post that was three posts after it. Yet you conveniently missed Breesus's post showing you multiple links for good sheets on Amazon?
You're lying.

I believe breesus even tried to point out that he missed it multiple times too.
OP can not admit he was wrong, apparently in any way, shape, or form.

And I posted this on page 6, but this must have been one of those conveniently missed posts.
Removed the pic.

sorry to disappoint.
i'd like you to defend them now that you're 'all in' that those are good sheets

eta are you seriously saying those sheets with absolutely ZERO reviews and a complete unknown are worth buying?

the OT is funny

How are we suppose to refute these? There are no links to anything to even know what products you are looking at besides generic names for the objects you are searching for...
Amazon also has a lot of marketplace people that charge outrageous prices for stock Amazon doesn't carry, so I am not surprised you have found some crazy high prices on there. A lot of things I get for my dog (like brushes) come from speciality shops that aren't sold in Petsmart/Petco type stores. They are crazy expensive on Amazon as opposed to other internet dealers.

sure..just take one..a CREE 60w lightbulb. couldn't be easier to find at amazon right? there's like one that matches that.
$26 + shipping
home depot $10
also for those "breezus found great sheets at amazon" links, consider the following:
quote:
“Thread count is a red herring,” says Rough Linen’s Tricia Rose. “A high thread count can mean that the fabric feels smooth, but not that it will wear better… [it’s] a bit of a gimmick.” To understand how thread count effects sheets, we first need to really think about what it is. Thread count is measured by adding the number of threads per square inch in both the warp and weft directions (warp threads run vertically, weft threads horizontally). Often times, manufacturers boost their reported thread count by counting each two-ply thread as two threads, or each four-ply thread as four. Thread count is meant to indicate the fineness of the weave, not how many threads can be jammed into a single inch of fabric, and this marketing technique is deceptive. Additionally, higher thread count sheets are often heavier, more likely to trap heat, and less likely to breathe well. Believe it or not, we’ve found the butter zone to be a thread count between 200 and 500

Just like those reviews on Amazon apparently. You should try reading.
Posted on 4/22/14 at 2:05 pm to CAD703X
I never said anything about the sheets, you pissed and moaned for links, and they were provided, yet you ignored them. I just wanted you to acknowledge that someone was at least trying to remedy your sheet problem.
