And copays/coinsurance.
That’s going to cap at a relatively small number when you consider the cost of insuring it.

Neither am I, I pay insurance to protect my FAMILY if I become unable to work etc….. but you do you
I mean i get that, but i dont' see a scenario where i'm not dead, where i can't work after 2-4 weeks after the accident. And if i am that bad off, then that's just an extremely rare occurrence to get an accident where i don't die, but i'm basically a worthless human for months. I do'nt work at McDonalds. I can't imagine it being that difficult to sit in a chair with my laptop at home and work, which is what i do now anyway.
To me, that's like me getting earthquake/volcano insurance in Louisiana. I'm not paying to protect me from shite that has such a small chance of happening.
And on top of that, I have things to protect me through my employer health insurance for what you're describing, to ensure i get paid while i'm out in this rare occurrence the accident was bad enough to keep me from working for months.

Every time there is a insurance thread one thing quickly becomes apparent, very few people have any understanding about the insurance coverage they have, or what they may need.

You can’t carry collision and UMPD, you 1000% can carry collision and UM/UIM BI.
I suppose I’m being careless with my language. I want to be able to carry both collision and UMPD, but at separate deductibles.
