Jesus was a man. Briefly. He had to come to Earth to die for our sins since God can’t look on sin. That’s why there were sacrifices in the Old Testament to atone for sins. Jesus took the place of that.

The Christian God has a name, Jesus.
Jesus is God robed in flesh. Also, read the book of Acts.... many examples there, also in the book of Acts folks were baptized in the name of Jesus.
