When I want to go to Lowe’s and randomly buy crap that won’t fit in the trunk of a car. I can just throw it in the back of my truck.
Or when my wife randomly finds cheap furniture on FB that she wants to refinish. I can go pick it up without seeming like a hipster soy boy and have to beg someone else to let me use their truck.
And my truck is just as nice on the inside as most higher end sedans.

I have a ski boat and a fishing boat.
It’s convenient for hauling stuff especially things like furniture if you have happen to move. Don’t have to rent a u haul or pay a moving company.
DIY projects where you go to Lowe’s and have to get lumber/materials
Safe in a wreck, and most trucks are way more luxurious and ride better than cars these days.
