I agree with this. The fear here lies within you not wanting to ruin the relationship if she "finds out" that you are romantically interested in them. You really value and appreciate your friendship with said girl and are worried that they will run away at any advance. This is also why so many guys get friendzoned, myself included. I'm the king of it lol

This. They don't realize that most guys will frick anything warm and wet.
What has been awesome is seeing stuck up women drop their standards by a dozen notches when they hit 30. By that age their looks have faded, guys have learned not to put them on a pedestal, and half have had failed marriages and probably a kid or two.
Thank god for the handful of women who weren't superficial and worked on having an actual personality and a career instead of depending on their looks to carry them their entire life.

I don't think most dudes have a fear of rejection. There are too many ways to hook up with women this day in age. It is purely a numbers game.
I prefer the show interest to hook her in, then give it the I don't give a shite method.

Glad to be in this group. I have an MBA and a great career in PR. Also have kept fit and drink a ton of water, so men think I'm 25/26 in public.
