Other than stopping twice at Buccee’s the last two years on vacation in Florida, I haven’t been in a convenience store in years.

I don't know their economic condition but If I can avoid getting behind an elderly woman I will.
The cashier tells her that will be $86.12, then she gives that momentary stare, and finally opens up her purse to sort through a stack of cards to choose her favorite one.
All the time, I'm thinking, "Lady, you knew you were going to have to pay, so why didn't you have your card out while she was scanning 40 objects?"

Racetracs have an actual lottery machine. Heard a guy say I don't trust them things, you can't get your money while he had 12 people waiting behind him to check out and asked for 3 different ticket, scratched all won and asked for more tickets.
