I hope my son plays sports because I never did, and I regret that. I'm a huge sports fan but just never played. If he plays sports, you better believe I'm gonna live vicariously through him but to a respectable extent. I won't be overbearing and if he wants to quit, I'll explain pros and cons, help him decide, and won't call him a quitter because of it. I never played so I can't fault him if he plays and wants to quit after.
