I generally apologize to my dog if I step on her.

I have rolled on my dogs paw a few times and they cry out and it makes me feel horrible. They move with me, but when they get too excited I have to be careful and there was 2 or 3 times when I accidently got them.

This is my mind set. It freaks me out and I get mad but I usually just curse then try to console them.
