Nah, I'm good. My skin is permanently brown except for under my shirt and pants. I don't get sunburned at all

A better question is why do long distance runners have such bad physiques.

Would yall say jogging 2.5 every other day is too much?
Walking doesn't really do it for me cause I like to get a sweat going

Not enough to make them look decrepit at age 35. I, as well as countless people I know, are outside all day long and our skin looks normal.

The constant bouncing thing makes more sense because bicycle racers don't have that problem

I'm really going to need some good examples of this because I have no idea what you people are talking about

When I've trained hard for 1/2 marathons I've noticed a decline in my immune system. simple wear and tear. You definitely need to supplement if you're a hardcore runner.

Of course the benefits outweigh negatives for most casual runners.

stop running then.

walk.
swim some.

learn Tai Chi
learn yoga. (hatha and breathing exercises)

do some resistance training.

eat a balanced diet with an accent on raw foods.

get 15 or 20 minutes of sun a day.

smile a lot.
love your neighbor.
forgive yourself.

Great advice.

I wouldn't call training for a half marathon a hardcore runner

Hard to generalize (but I can/will)

Disrupted HPA axis (cortisol, thyroid, sex hormones in disarray)
Chronic stress / inflammation from chronic steady state cardio (ironic as most people doing this deem this terribly inefficient behavior as healthy...)
Sun
Likely poor fat free (read high carb/processed crap) diet (devoid in healthy fats / micronutrients)

And don't forget:

Chronic overuse injuries
Right sided heart dysfunction/ dysrthmias

Addictive /OCD behavior that continues to reinforce the cycle above despite criticisms from physicians...

A very asymmetric lifestyle centered around a poor understanding of "health"

But hey, the sugary drink and shoe companies tell them to run more. $$$
