That is one terrible looking lawn

Sequestering carbon, producing oxygen, cooling temperatures, reduced soil erosion. All would be scientific. People view greenspace as safer than a run down shanty town full of decrepit buildings.
Allowing the grass to grow wild, one would logically conclude would increase the scientific benefits of carbon sequestration and erosion prevention.
I’m not saying let the building run down. Strictly speaking about the lawn. Decrepit lawn, perfect building.

plus it’s self respect and generally givin a shite
But WHY does cut grass equate to this? Spending an extra hour a week exercising or studying for self betterment would be better examples is self respect and giving a shite.

I cleaned and vacuum the house for health benefits and to preserve the investment. I put things in order to Increase efficiency. I do not make my bed because it serves no purpose. If someone is in my bedroom they have already been impressed.

You have any pictures on the wall? Paint on the walls?

Yes. Wall paint increases resale.
I would wait till resale time and cut the grass.
Still no logical reason WHY it gets done.

You can paint before selling, no?
People do it because it looks neat and is easier to play in. Stop being such an a-hole.
Baw.

I do cut my grass but I would love to know why we are so obsessed with doing it. I do a Taj Mahal job on the lawn.
