I shite you not, I got my arse chewed out as a 16 yr old Kid at McDonalds about this exact issue. He explained it was the most cost-efficient(Sure he learned that at some McDonalds Manager Camp).
Then he really got pissed when I asked why we don't toss in 2 packets for every drive thru order and give more if they ask for it.
a-hole Manager Who's probably still a shift manager somewhere:
"You want that taken out of your paycheck to give every customer ketchup packs that cost $.02 each?"

Ketchup is the second most trashiest condiment behind miracle whip.
I will use it mixed 50/50 with Louisiana Hot Sauce with catfish but that's it.
