Not just talking about this chick.

Some woman at work noticed that I had my phone locked.
She said that her and her husband agreed not to password protect their phones so that they could check each others phone any time they want.

Married people are weird.
Either you trust them or you don't.
Stop being a paranoid loon or don't get married.

The phone password thing and looking at each other's phones is weird.

I wouldn't have a problem with my wife going out for coffee or for lunch with another guy, especially for work. If an old friend asked her, I trust her enough to not be bothered by her doing that. What I wouldn't really know are your intentions, so while trusting my wife enough to not be bothered by her eating lunch with you, I'd still have it in the back of my mind "why does this guy really want to eat with my wife?"

You sound like a loser who's afraid that his wife is looking to upgrade.

It's lunch in a public spot and they haven't seen each other in 15 years.

There are dudes in this thread agreeing that a woman getting coffee with a man, no matter the circumstance is a date.

who?

because everyone seems to be in agreement that coworkers, mutual friends, people that have stayed in touch, etc is pretty normal.

creepy guy that “mutually attracted” asking on first time seeing her in many years?
that’s a bit different.

It all boils down to the fact that he doesn't trust his wife.
Either he knows she's a slut, or knows that he is a loser and is terrified for her to even associate with a higher value male, even over an innocent lunch.

I can't imagine going through life feeling so insecure and inferior.

You're an uniformed, presumptive, judgy prick aren't you? Your girlfriend, God bless her, I hope she finds her way out of your clutch somehow. Maybe some swinging dick from her childhood had lunch with her today

Clutch?

She's free to go any time she wants.
I'm not some paranoid loon looking over her shoulder 24/7.

No kidding.

Just how insecure are these dudes?

even if you think the guy wants to sleep with her, all she has to do is say no.

So what it boils down to is you don't trust your wife to say no.

Why don't you trust her to say no?

Because you know that you don't make her happy and that she could do better.

This thread has turned into the OP and Mingo giving each other high fives over the table and handjobs under it.

I mean, I don't want to bang your wife, and I would hope she doesn't want to bang me. So, yeah, if anything you're insecure.

I held the door open this morning for a woman.
Was that a date?
Should her husband be jealous?

Here is some advice for you pathetic losers.
Women aren't attracted to insecurity and fear, those are feminine traits.
