Ok. I'll take your. Word for it. But Toyota has had some issues as well. It depends on what you are looking gor in a car. My prelude looks it's age but I could get in it and drive to California without a worry at all. I am not into all the fancy stuff on the inside.

Form follows function...
...all those "cool" looking extra features on the body of AMG or BMW M cars are there as a result of the car's performance needs requiring such body enhancements.
Those German autos just don't add body features just because--there is almost always a reason for them.

Well, your idea of common sense is to say that the none of the number one selling car in America's buyers think it looks good. You'll forgive me for saying that is pretty much the opposite of common sense.
