Empress Irene of Byzantium did some warring
Queen Mary I waged war on the Protestant heresy started by her father. She also had some fighting with France where she lost Callais.
Queen Isabella invaded England with Roger Mortimer and deposed her husband Edward II.

Men have a far greater capacity, and proclivity, towards violence than women.
I doubt this is an attribute that feminists would like to claim in the name of equality and socially constructed gender roles.

Case of a woman leading a war. uprising of Celtic tribes vs Roman legions.
the queen of the Iceni, a Celtic tribe in eastern coastal England, led a revolt against the Romans in the early ADs. She raised an army of 100,000 people and stormed a city in what we would probably call the midlands now and then sacked London.
The Roman general considered moving off England to France *Gaul, where Romans controlled a pacified landscape. The Celts were nothing but trouble, and the far north (Scotland now) had to be walled off (Hadrian's Wall), they were so hard to deal with.
However, he gave it one more try and won.
She was beat fair and square. the roman were outnumbered but they made a stand where only part of the Iceni army could engage them at a time. LINK
I was pretty astonished at the numbers she was able to assemble.
She got a neighboring tribe to go in on it.

Zenobia, Queen of Palmyra, led a revolt against Rome.
Aethelflaed of Mercia fought tirelessly against the Viking or Danish invasions after her father King Alfred died.
Queen Isabella of Spain campaigned against the Moors to end the Reconquista.
