I think the problem is that liberals view California as the liberal utopia and then thinks that's how the whole country should be.

This is a problem for the entire west coast. A lot of liberals have been viewing it as the promised land since the 60's and then they move out here. Walk around San Francisco, Seattle or Portland and see how many actual natives you find. That's why I laugh at all the hand wringing about Californians invading other states. A lot of them are just moving back where they came from because they got sticker shock or it just didn't work out for whatever reason.

I live about 30 mins from JBLM. All the active duty and veterans keep this area of the Sound a bit saner than Seattle proper so it shouldn't be too rough on him.

Ive lived in the south my entire life. Im 51. All I have ever heard from people here is how shitty California is. I have been there 6 times. I loved every second I was there. The people there may be shitty and the politics may be shitty but that state is awesome

As I stated, I typically dont even bother engaging trump supporters anymore. They are either too ignorant, misinformed, or dishonest to warrant my time these days. Better to just ignore them or not engage them. He wont be around much longer and the trump supporters that aren't wackos will turn on him as soon as they feel they dont have to defend him anymore because he doesn't represent their team anymore.
