Out in Pine through Sunday, though.

Way out there in the woods. I should know, I call Thomas home.

We are actually in Stateline. Pine is town.

A Knight? We are likely related.

My next door neighbors in Power Hall as a freshman were two good ole baws from Bogalusa. They took off from school and went home the week of the fair.

Go tomorrow, Friday or Sunday around lunch before they pack up. Saturdays are a much less desirable crowd.

On Saturdays all the locals are tailgating in the campground areas. A fun time in its own right.

Truth. I hear the malt stand has the big kitchen this year. Funnel cake with peaches for Thursday dinner!

I live around the corner from the front entrance. People camping all around. I’ll cook a 20 gallon jambalaya tomorrow, ready for 1, and it’ll all be gone by tomorrow night. The party around the fairgrounds is what the locals do, campgrounds included.

When I was in Southeastern’s marching band back in the early 80’s we marched in the fair parade. I saw some of the ugliest, inbred looking people I’ve ever seen
