Hahaha, I remember these matches quite well. When we were kids, older cousin use to take us to the dome and I believe St Bernard Civic center at that time.

As far as solo wrestlers. Haku or Meng was a legitimate bad arse. I think he took someone's eye ball out.

Ask yourself who lived on Badstreet USA?
There's your answer.

Yup - he almost ripped it out, but not completely. Heenan always told a story of Meng getting into a bar fight, and ripping out a guy's bottom teeth with his fingers.

You mean the street the Von Erichs would walk at night and whip any losers arse on it?
I guess that does answer it.

One night at Cowboys in Bossier Hayes and Roberts got into a screaming match with DiBiase and Williams. Apparently something went off script during a match and Gordy was hurt pretty bad.

Without at doubt Bam Bam Gordy. Also, Buddy Roberts. The WCCW days > anything they did for Ted Turner.

It seems like the ring in Mid South wasn't as big as the ones used in WWF

I bought it two years ago. It was very good, but WWE of curse released one on WCCW that has 1,000x more stuff/matches. McMahon and his whore of a co. have no business owning the WCCW library, but since Hayes started working for WWE, I suppose it really is now all the same.
Bruiser Brody would have made as much money as Ultimate Warrior had he not been murdered.
Man, to have lived and grown up in DFW in the early-mid 1980's and getting to see all of those Texas metal bands and to role out to the Sportitorium.

NWO was good at first, then they ran it into the ground by having practically the whole fricking roster on NWO Hollywood, Wolfpack, and LWO. Plus matches never had legitimate outcomes because the NWO always ran in and caused a DQ.

Eric Bischoff ran too wild with NWO. It got very stupid...as did the Sting/The Crow routine and having to hear Tony Schiovanni yell 20 times in 5 minutes when Sting would be spotted on the roof of a place like the Rapides Parish Coliseum.

Yeah, they're in there. The Shockmaster...I mean Typhoon and Earthquake should be in there also.

Bischoff also made The 4 Horsemen look like total bitches to the NWO when the crowd was begging for Flair and company to kick some arse. It's all outlined well in that book about the death of WCW.
