You're are a hard worker.

As for the folks complaining about getting up early, just go to bed early. Get your 8 hours of sleep and you will be funny.

Ok well let me rephrase. Why not be a engineer with your engineering degree??? Is the pay better else where. Does the field suck? I worked with a guy who was a chemical engineer and he was a fireman making 40,000 a year. Just want ed to slap him.

I'm not really sure. I work in healthcare and one of my co-workers has an industrial engineering degree and my main software consultant is an aerospace engineer. Neither working in a field close to engineering. Their pay is probably similar to what they'd be paid as an engineer, though.

After working from home 60-80% of the time for these last 4 years, I'm not sure how I'd adjust to showing up at work at 8:00 every day, especially if I had a longer commute (30 minutes or so).

Hopefully I can put that off for another 2 years.

Officially starts at 8 but I'm always there early. I have a 20-mile commute so I leave some room for error (traffic, etc.)

We start PT at 0530. For me that is essentially the start of my workday. Some nights off by 1600, others not until 2100. Just depends.

I roll up around 1600. Pretty legit.
