This Vietnamese kid, age 23 or so, murdered a major drug dealing black woman in a Vietnamese dominated neighborhood. He shot 11 times and killed the drug dealer, who was a 44 year old grandmother (yes i know). And he shot at and nearly killed the 4 year old grandson.
Lam, who was on The First 48 and is weird as frick, got 40 years for Manslaughter.
This was in 2015. How was this not 1st degree? He went to kill woman for her thousands of dollars in drugs. Almost killed a baby. He and his lawyers came up with a ridiculous wrestling over a gun that deceased had stolen from Lam...got manslaughter. Busted with a few hundred pharmaceutical dollars on him.
Why?
And in before statues.

The real question is how did you relay your question so poorly

Not sure what I just read.

I've seen better spelling in the quad

And you people have the audacity to claim South La. > North La.

So Lam never got to be on the lam?

I used this thing called google and instantly found a Nola.com article that explained he pled guilty to manslaughter and got 45 years. He was in the midst of being tried for murder. 45 years is a long time and he’ll serve most of that. It’s a long enough sentence for most prosecutors to approve in order to get the conviction and move on to the next appalling case.

Your Google translate is broke.

Get your shite together, you suck at posting.

I think he got 45 years not 40, and he entered a guilty plea for the reduced charge that got him 45 years.
In the scheme of sentencing at Tulane and Broad I'm not sure what you are bitching about. Plea Bargains happen all the time.

Spelling redone.
And why will this criminal be out by age 67 at worst?

This is called reading between the lines and further of this...

grandson.
These are the facts. Yeah, she was a grandmother, yeah he was 4 years old...but she was a drug dealer and he almost killed the grandson.
If anything the grandsons parents should be charged with negligence and are just as guilty for the almost death of their son...no way they didn't know grandma was dealing.
Better question is how does anyone get worked up in these cases? Trash killing trash...the only worry and focus should be on the child who is effed if he's continued to be brought up by his own trash bloodline.
