There were lay-offs and my area inherited the work. One guy refused to take on the extra work. He didn't speak up to the bosses but it was well known. The bosses decided to treat us like children and made a spread sheet for the work we had to complete by the end of the day. Now no one was happy and everyone was pissed at this guy.

Pot stealers are the worst.
Someone who thinks they don't have to wait for the whole pot to finish before they get their cup. Messes up the whole coffee to water ratio IMO. May not be the case but that's my perception.

It 100% does. The first minute of coffee is very strong while the last drips are almost all water

I agree that guy is bad, but the complainer is worse. No one wants to hear a co-worker bitching about insignificant shite in the office. If you know who it is, ask them 1-on-1 to start making a pot when they use the last cup. If you can't do that, just make a pot.

Absolutely, wait for the pot to finish or everyone else gets weak coffee.
