Rousey goes in - misses wildly over the top, gets pushed down from the back by Holm - IS turning around and catches the kick - almost the opposite of what you said.

And because she runs her mouth so much -
I mean, when a dominant fighter like Rousey loses in such dramatic fashion, people want to suggest she took a dive (and let's face it - the money involved is relatively little - I'd be tempted to bet against myself, but only as a hedge - if the odds were so skewed in a fight like this to make it profitable either way) - but this fight just looks like she caught the wrong fighter, with the wrong style, on the wrong day, at the wrong time.
Maybe she took Holm lightly - but, she's knocked gals out with that exact kick before:
Now - Allanna Jones is no Rousey, but that is her only straight knockout in 7 losses (amateur and pro).

No. I meant a male fighter. Whoever is equal to you pound for pound, like Rouseys.
She "slowly" rose because she was rocked and in zombie mode. She had just eaten a good shot to the mouth. She was moving at half speed because she was half out. She was only trying to stand and left her right arm down.
You are making it sound like she was Obi-Wan and calmly lowered her light saber as she turned to face Vader.

You're prob right, I don't honestly believe she tanked but it does look weird and it would make sense for her to do so from a monetary standpoint which is what prompted my post in the first place.
