Was reading about DFW and the CDC questionnaire is what's snarled it. Idiots didn't think about simply having them on the plane to fill out on the hours long return trips.

The CDC needs some prison time to think about what it's done.

I drove past O'Hare around 6 tonight and saw one plane taking off. Normally we see 5-6 as we're driving 294. It was snowing like crazy but not enough to affect a major hub like that. Of course landings were coming in from the west so I couldn't see what was landing. We were headed there other way yesterday and had an Air Nippon flight pass so low over us that I could almost see the tread on the tires. If it's US carriers getting their planes out of Europe I'd hate to see ATL tomorrow. If I remember correctly ATL is home to Delta, ORD is home to United, and where is home for American? Dallas? And what's going on with European airlines? Are they just leaving their planes here for people that wish to spend their 2 weeks off touring Europe?
If you're old enough to remember a lot of the details after 9/11, logistically it took a solid week to get people to their destinations if they were forced to land that morning. It took months for the airlines to get their planes where they needed to be. Then you had the consolidation with TWA, NWA, etc.
