I can either take it or leave it. I choose to leave it most of the time. I'm usually in Colorado skiing.

Dont hate it. I enjoy going to the parades here in town but don't care to go to the city and be in that mess. I'd rather stay home and enjoy my time off work

I guess you have a different perspective when you don't grow up in Loooziana. It's like an entirely new holiday for better or worse. Imagine never knowing king cakes, all of it. What's to hate?

I'm not a huge fan. Try to take the kids to one or two parades. I would rather vacation during Mardi Gras.

Parade people and fair people are interesting individuals.
