I cant get enough of it. I've never heard the term until a couple years ago and now every weather and news outlet uses it ad nauseum.

Say it with me, "Rain Event"..

I love it. Why haven't we heard the term until recently though?

We used to say, "heavy rains expected this week" or "high probability of rainstorms". Now it's an event!!!

"Event" was coined long before meteorologists chief.

DD, I bet you use the term 'signage' for 'sign', don't you.

It is just a move to use more passive voice in the language for the do-nothing libs.

The sun isn't shining...It is a sun event.

I didn't lose my keys...My keys are lost.

Commie bastards...My head is having a tin foil hat event.
