Richard Jeni
Richard Pryor on drugs

Some of the best lines in Blazing Saddles were written by Pryor.

The real genius that never comes up in these threads is Gilbert Gottfried. He and Norm MacDonald work the exact same comedy, just on different sides of the line.

His "Hitler had a grandson" joke alone is better material than 75% of the names mentioned here have ever released.

Currently? John Mulaney and it’s not really close.

Uh, Bill Burr is bigger than Mulaney.

What's your definition? Because he certainly isn't taller or more famous.

His skit about Oprah Winfrey claiming being a mother is the hardest job in the world is hilarious.

Burr tearing Philadelphia to shreds is the height of stand up comedy.

I like the old guys: Rickles, Pryor, Carlin, Murphy, etc.

I liked the Jeff Foxworthy/Cable Guy/Ron White/Bill Engvall Group for awhile. I saw Ron White in New Orleans though last year and was very disappointed.

I enjoy listening to some of the old radio guys, too. Fred Allen, Jack Benny, WC Fields, etc.
