I was a sociology major at LSU and I can tell you that it opened my eyes to the fact that the world is ugly, not fair, and you'll only be here for a little while.
It also taught me that people who don't want to work will go to extraordinary lengths to not work and get some kind of hand out. Gimme dats
It also taught me that dumb people like this b$&@h are so introverted that they think that if you DONT think like they do....than they can push their philosophies on you. It's a psychological disorder.

Age isn't merit. I know of 16 year olds that have a much greater understanding of economics and geopolitical issues than 95% of adults.
The fact that you've existed for 30 years doesn't mean you have the first clue about politics - most don't.

You know what I mean, Devlin

Because most voters form their own opinions and don't simply regurgitate talking points from chat rooms and 24 hour news channels
It's impossible to form your own opinions if you don't understand the foundation of the subject on which you're opining.

I'm fine with adding a voting test too, but it should only apply to males over 25

That's a retarded opinion.
My female colleagues run cognitive circles around you. Gender is a completely neutral attribute. Restricting decision-making authority based on it is the weapon of the shallow.

I love to see these peer-review studies
Posted on 4/15/17 at 8:53 am to Antonio Moss
I'm sure there are thousands of peer reviewed studies that say the male and female brains work differently
Posted on 4/15/17 at 8:55 am to GeauxxxTigers23
Do those studies conclude that men are smarter than women?

The fact that, across a broad population, men and women's brain work differently doesn't mean that individual men and women are incapable of understanding the issues necessary to render competent votes.
Across a broad population, men's brains all work differently.
I don't think you understand how statistics work.

We know that men and women, as a whole, average about the same IQ, but women are more concentrated near the apex of the curve whereas men are more spread across the entire spectrum.

Ironic since it's white men that gave them the right to vote.

I always love when Progs tell us what their end game is.

No. It isn't. There is a very real difference between the sexes

I am down as long as we don't have taxation without representation.
