So... Why does iTunes and others continue to sell music with the n word if it's this controversial?

I was there. It was pretty fricking stupid of her to sing the full song. Especially when the dude that rapped Maad City before her censored himself.

So if I combed through every single Kendrick Lamar song, he has never said anything another race, religion, gender, or sexuality would find offensive?

Heh.

The N word is either able to be used by ALL or NONE. If you don't want to be judged by your color - then don't create "colored" words. Personally - that word is offensive PERIOD. WHY? because I remember why it was used and in what context. I don't have to be a black man to understand the devisive, derogatory, repulsive nature of this word. But I digress - if you are trying to make this word mean something else by using it - I go back to my first sentence -- You can't use the word to create new meaning and not allow it to be all inclusive - otherwise - what you are saying is that THAT particular word still carries the original intent from the 50's. Sure you might find something. I wasn’t offended by her using the n word. However I did find it awkward and a bit of buzzkill. Not to mention, she censored herself during the beginning of the song and decided to drop the word later on. So she clearly knew what was about happen when she got called out by KL. But awkwardly tried to play it off with a “oh why did you stop me bro. Oh am I not cool enough for you now?”

You are either an equal or you are not. If you don’t like the word don’t use it ...don’t encourage it. A word cannot be a term of endearment when spoken by a person of one color then become a term that sets off out rage and claims of racism when spoken by another. The irony is laughable and is an embarrassment to the African-American population.

Nothing ruins a concert more than bringing random people on stage to sing or rap. Nobody's paying money to hear that kaoroke bullshite.
