Let me refresh your memory:
The morning after one of the hard freezes this Winter, you woke up to no water in a portion of your house - the kitchen and a nearby bathroom, perhaps. You came to the OT, asking questions about what to do. You had what you described as really tight crawl space, but didn't know if it was 1' or 2'. You also asked if homeowners or flood insurance would cover the damage. It was a very unmanly display in a public forum, especially for a know-it-all motherfricker like yourself.
Maybe you just woke up and were in shock, so your brain wasn't functioning correctly. Maybe the severe cold had a deleterious effect on your critical thinking skills. Maybe you were still drunk from the night before. Maybe all three, I don't know. But it happened and you took a lot of shite for it.
Does any of this sound familiar now?

The above quote is what was left after you edited your thread title and original post. it happened. There's four pages of people ragging on you for asking if flood insurance might cover your loss.
You do know quite a bit about a wide range of subjects and you seem to particularly well informed about the maritime shipping industry. My problem with you is that you're sometimes, perhaps even frequently, abusive to posters who may not be as educated as you on some topics. There's no need to be an a-hole just for the sake of being an a-hole. It doesn't make you smarter or wittier. It just makes you a bigger a-hole.
