Put something like 'Wafb Article' that indicates the site people are clicking on.
Folks at work can get dinged for clicking on links to certain news, entertainment, or pop culture sites.
For example, a link to TMZ or FB may get reported to management if they click it, while WAFB and WBRZ are fine.
It's just a quick update in the link text. Do it and don't be so stubborn and hardheaded about it.

While I get it as a courtesy, the over the top response is just overkill at this point. On any modern browser, if you hover your cursor over the link, it will show you the entire address. On an iPhone, if you press and hold, a menu will pop up with the address. I assume there’s something similar with android.
