Willie's passing will suck tremendously. Jimmy Buffett turned 70 yesterday but you'd hardly know it given he's still surfing and playing shows regularly, will miss the the tailgates at his shows over the summers.

I get an all Jimmy Buffet music station on Sirius XM. #24. he's lost his voice some.
I love his work. lyrics are so much fun. the music is happy.

when I was a teenager, a small plane with crashed in Iowa.
I was doing my homework.
I cried. Richie Valens. "La Bamba" crossover hit with unintelligible lyrics, still gets play. a dj named "The big bopper" with a goofy song. Buddy Holly top country crossover.
There have been many country stars to die in car wrecks on the way to gigs.
This crash got to me.
