I ?? Totally disagree. I owned a 70 and much prefer that look. Those vents give a classic look.
You talking about the fake vents outboard of the headlights on the '70?
I prefer the fake rear brake cooling vents high on the rear quarters of the '69.
Lack of those vents on the '70 coupled with the flat tail light panel make the entire arse-end behind the doors look too large.
Don't get me started on the stupid pot metal cladding below the beltline.
IMHO.
