Which has more practical benefits: community college/juco/tech or 4/yr degrees?

it seems the answer to this question is predicated on the jobs available to said degrees. All these folks wanting free education need to look into the cc/juco route. They may come out better in the end than waiting for a expensive 4/yr degree that doesn't get you much.

What is stupid about the post? The multitude of people that borrow/spends tens of thousands of dollars on a college education without considering what the return on investment will be is a prime example of stupidity.

Why does everybody still act like it's some big secret that you can make a lot of money as a skilled blue collar worker?

Well, if you want to be a plumber, a 4 year degree seems pointless

Thousands and thousands of dollars in debt to get a degree in ancient western civilizations probably isn't the best idea.

Trade school to become a welder or electrician and being in very little debt possibly a better idea.
