I went to Arthur Bryant's and got a burnt end open face sandwhich....wasn't impressed

Lol at Arthur Bryant's. Oklahoma Joe ' s in KCK is tops and it isn't close. I recommend Gates for the experience/uniqueness, if you have time to hit up a 2nd...but Jackstack is really good, too. That said, if you're that close to Jackstack in the Plaza, skip it and hit up Starker's up the block and across from Cheesecake Factory. You will not find a better steak than Starkers. And do yourself a favor and go to the Nelson - Atkins Art Museum. My final suggestion is to check out the Negro Leagues Museum (connected to the Jazz Museum) in the historic 18th and Vine District. You're 35. Act like you've been laid and pass on the power and light district. GEAUX ROYALS!!!
