Don't care about OTC drugs. They ain't keeping me alive. I'm already constantly having to run around between pharmacies to secure my meds on a monthly basis. China also provides a lot of the raw materials needed for manufacturing.

Read the book Bottle of Lies. It's about the history of generic drugs and the complete lack of oversight by the FDA. Will really make you uneasy about the fact that we get life changing drugs where name brand drugs are $300 a month but we get them for $4 per month.

It describes the history of how we got to this point and how dependent our health care system is on these prices.

That does not necessarily mean the product is made in Michigan. That only indicates that the company is located there. I would bet you that a Chevrolet manufactured in Mexico would say “Chevrolet, Detroit MI” somewhere on the vehicle or in the owners manual.
