No data shows that.
There have been slight declines after 2000, but those were followed with overall increases.
From 2021-2023, there was a slight decline that some attribute to GLP-1 availability, but no one knows if that will hold.
Also, during that period of decline, severe obesity still increased by 0.5%.

My wife (no pics) and I are both 64.
She ran track at the Div 1 level in college and has been a coach / PE teacher ever since. 3 kids.
Today she is 5'7", 125 lbs, no work done. Everything still firm and still has the drive.
