re: When should women stop coloring their hair?

When the treatments start make ones hair look like a pile of hay.

My wife is now 59 and I've been coloring her hair since I met her over 20 years ago. At first it was just the shower cap thing with holes in it to pull some strands through with what looked like a knitting needle. Then coloring that stuff to come out several shades lighter than her natural medium brown hair color for the highlighted/streaked look.

Fast forward to about 5 years ago and it became a total hair coloring to hide the gray that's coming in. It's easy to do and only takes about 15 minutes of my time every 6 weeks or so, and saves her tons of money as opposed to heading to a beauty salon and paying someone else to do it.


She buys the product from a beauty supply place and in all, it probably cost her less than $15 each time.

I believe you, and, your hair color may very well appear to be silver silken beauty. But I will still lean towards a different color, perhaps just a shading of the silver to give hint of blonde, red or auburn.
