I use one 2-3 times a week for work. We use a laser scanner to re-engineer small parts and it's the easiest/quickest way to keep them stationary.

I used one last week to temporarily attach an MDF pattern to wood in order to cut it to size on the shaper.

I hot-glued a red blinking LED into my 3D printed water tower several months ago for my HO train layout. Kind of handy to have around.

We have one in pretty much every room, it seems like.

Plus, I have one for Halloween with a fitting to attach an airline to make spooooooky spider webs.
